G'day, my name is Brian Poskitt and I am from Blackheath, NSW, Australia, although originally like most of the Poskitts, from the West Riding of Yorkshire in England.  I'm trying to be an Aussie, but after 34 years I don't think I'm going to make it.

I am single and have past the age at which I need to pursue gainful employment, and want to get back to real people and real things.  It only took me 48 years of full-time work to get to this point, and HERE I AM.

I live in one of the most beautiful places on this Earth, the Blue Mountains of NSW, Australia.  I am lucky I live in a caring community, one which hasn't as yet succumbed to all the bad things in modern life.

Hobbies, I have a few, building model ships, woodwork, reading all the books I can get hold of, photography, classical music, opera, comedy (Monty Python type).

I have 3 children 1 girl, 2 boys (unfortunately only the 2 boys survive) and 1 grandchild.

I have a few close friends, one soul mate (living apart), no pets other than the wild parrots around my house everyday.
